William Parker (otherwise William Smith) , aged 29, found guilty on an indictment for breaking into the dwelling house of John Comford in the parish of Stoke D’Abernon on 19th August 1786; and stealing therefrom a man’s cloth waistcoat (valued at 9/-), 6 yards of printed cotton (valued at £1), a linen shirt (value at 2/-), a linen shift (valued at 6d) - the rpoperty of John Comford; and a muslin apron (valued at 2/-) - the property of Samuel Comford.

The only report of this execution I have found is in Jackson’s Oxford Journal of Saturday 9th September, which reports it as taking place “last week”.
